Rohit Shetty talks about Deepika Padukone's standalone film as Lady Singham in Cop Universe!
Singham Again, a number of both new and familiar characters appeared in the most recent Cop Universe edition. Shakti Shetty, also known as Lady Singham, was presented by Deepika Padukone. Director Rohit Shetty has now provided an update regarding Deepika's role in the stand-alone movie. He revealed that he was still unsure of the direction they could take with their idea.
 
Rohit Shetty said in a recent media conference why it took so long for his fictional world to feature a female police officer. He revealed that he was awaiting the character's appropriate script. He went so far as to say that he didn't think the Cop Universe will exist until 2018. Rohit stated that he had the idea to include a female police officer while filming Sooryavanshi, which starred Akshay Kumar.
 
Rohit stated that the script for the stand-alone movie starring Deepika Padukone was still in the works. He revealed, “We do have a concept in mind, but we don’t know where we can go with it.” The filmmaker added that it would take time.
 
In reference to Shakti Shetty, Rohit revealed, “I know what the character will be like and her basic story arc, but I don’t know her whole journey yet as a director or writer.”
 
He claimed that if Lady Singham hadn't been presented to the universe, a movie starring her would have undoubtedly been made. According to Rohit, there was a rationale for the emphasis on her role in the most recent film, Singham Again.

The first appearance of Deepika Padukone as Lady Singham was revealed by Rohit Shetty in 2023. He wrote in the caption, “NAARI SITA KA BHI ROOP HAI AUR DURGA KA BHI... (Woman is the form of Sita and also of Durga). MEET THE MOST BRUTAL AND VIOLENT OFFICER OF OUR COP UNIVERSE... SHAKTI SHETTY... MY LADY SINGHAM... DEEPIKA PADUKONE.”
 
Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff are also part of the cast of Singham Again. The movie is showing in theatres right now.
