Varun Dhawan opens up on his role in next film Border 2! Wed November 13th, 2024

In addition to enjoying the success of his television series Citadel: Honey Bunny, Varun Dhawan is presently preparing for the release of his film Baby John. Following the release of the action thriller in 2024, his fans may look forward to a lengthy list of projects. Along with providing details on Bhediya 2, Citadel: Honey Bunny Season 2, and Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, the actor recently described his role in the upcoming movie Border 2 as "challenging."

Varun Dhawan engaged fans in a Q&A session on X (Twitter) on November 11, 2024. "Any update you can give about Border 2 as of right now?" a fan asked him. The performer responded by saying, "Very very challenging part."

The cast of Border 2 also includes Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in addition to Varun Dhawan. JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar are the producers of the war drama, which is directed by Anurag Singh. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on January 23, 2026.

Varun was asked about his horror comedy Bhediya 2, which is set in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, by another user. "Can we expect to see an upgraded version of bhediya in #Bhediya2?" the person questioned. Iskaaa jawaab sirf @amarkaushik se sakte hain (Only Amar Kaushik can answer this) #varunsays, but yes, I believe it is feasible, VD retorted.

Varun responded that he was occupied filming two films when a viewer asked if a second season of his recently launched web series Citadel: Honey Bunny would be produced. He hinted that Raj and DK, the film's directors, intended to turn it into a short film.

Varun’s tweet read, “#CitadelHunnyBunny well right now I’m busy shooting 2 films back to back and then releasing #babyjohn then start #border2 toh app bolo kab shooting karu (tell me when will I shoot) haha but rajdk wanna make it into a mini movie next maybe.”

Varun alluded to his flick Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai when a netizen enquired if they may anticipate another film similar to Judwaa 2. He remarked, “Haha crazy in a new way now situation aise atti hain jawaani mein aur ishq mein.”

David Dhawan, Varun's father, is the director of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
