Janhvi Kapoor offers prayers at Tirupati Balaji temple on mom Sridevi's birth anniversary! Tue August 13th, 2024

Janhvi Kapoor has persisted in her yearly custom of visiting the famous Tirupati Balaji shrine on the anniversary of her mother Sridevi's birth. The late actress used to regularly visit the temple; therefore, it has a particular place in the hearts of the Kapoor family. Following her untimely death, Janhvi made it her mission to ensure that the custom was upheld, and in the most recent years, boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya has joined her.

For those who don't know, Janhvi Kapoor is making his fourth trip to Tirupati this year. The pair was spotted touring the temple grounds earlier today (August 13) while wearing traditional garb. Shikhar wore a white veshti with golden borders, while Kapoor wore a teal and sun yellow brocade silk saree with temple gold jewellery. The two could be seen departing after praying in a video that a media agency posted.

The 61st anniversary of Sridevi's birth occurs in 2024. Janhvi Kapoor posted a photo of her trip to Instagram as well. She posted three images: a photograph of the actress walking up the stairs in her underwear each year, an old photo of Sridevi and Janhvi, and a current photo showing the actress' stunning ensemble in close-up. The actress from Roohi wrote, "Happy birthday, Mumma (red heart emoji) I love you," as the caption for her carousel.

Boney Kapoor, Sridevi's spouse, also shared a photo of her on social media with the caption, "Happy birthday, my Jaan." Khushi Kapoor, the actress's youngest daughter, just shared a photo of herself on Instagram with her mother and Janhvi.

Regarding her career, Janhvi Kapoor was most recently spotted in Ulajh and is currently preparing for the release of Devara: Part 1, her Telugu debut.
