Fans went crazy when Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar formally unveiled Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, their forthcoming romantic comedy, on Christmas. Following the popularity of Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, there were soon rumors that he demanded Rs 50 crores for the movie. The actor has now finally responded to the rumors. In response to the reports, he asked why only his situation made such significant headlines, pointing out that people with comparable salaries frequently don't get the same amount of attention.

 

Many people raised their eyes when Kartik Aaryan was asked if he was charging Rs 50 crore for a film at a media interview. He responded directly to the reports, stating that he is not the only one who receives such high compensation. He responded, "Am I the only actor who has received such a price?" The actor went on to say that some celebrities only appear to garner media attention when they are linked to his name, while others seem to avoid the same scrutiny.

 

He further revealed, "The thing is, I don’t have a spokesperson. I don’t have a family here. I don’t have my uncle, or my dad or my sister or my girlfriend spreading positivity about me in the articles or in the industry."

 

Kartik said that these kinds of reports frequently come from outside sources. The actor went on to say that some individuals become "irked" when someone forges their own path, and that discomfort can result in inflated or superfluous tales being spun around them.

 

On Christmas 2024, Kartik Aaryan surprised his fans with a joyful announcement of his upcoming romance movie with a unique twist, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. The project, which he will be working on with Karan Johar, is scheduled for release in theaters on February 13, 2026, just in time for Valentine's Day.
