Anurag Basu Reveals SHOCKING Reason for Triptii Dimri's Exit!
Tue February 04th, 2025
Rumors about Triptii Dimri's departure from the love film starring Kartik Aaryan began to circulate on social media shortly after it was announced that she would no longer be appearing in it. According to rumors, Triptii was fired because of worries that she had grown "too exposed" for the part, which allegedly called for the female lead to exhibit "purity in demeanor." In a recent interview, director Anurag Basu, however, denied these reports, saying that the "image was not an issue."
According to reports, after a recent run of daring performances, there were allegations that the lead actress, Triptii Dimri, was cut from the movie because her "image" did not fit the character. The movie's title was also altered, and it was no longer Aashiqui 3.
Anurag Basu, who was speaking about the matter for the first time, told a daily that he was not sure what the film's current title was because filming was supposed to start that month. Additionally, he said that an announcement would be made within the week on the female lead, who has not yet been finalized.
Anurag Basu responded to the speculation over Triptii Dimri's departure by saying that her "image" has nothing to do with it. He made it clear that he was the last person to evaluate an actor based only on their past performances.
Additionally, he stated that Aashiqui was no longer the film's plot and said he was unsure of where the circulating rumors came from.
Anurag Basu blamed schedule conflicts for Triptii Dimri's exit from the movie. Since Triptii was filming a movie with Vishal Bhardwaj and his own movie was also scheduled to start production that month, he clarified that the most significant factor was the conflict of schedules.
He went on to say that Triptii was still his greatest buddy and that he greatly admired her acting abilities. He recommended that Triptii herself be questioned by the media about what happened.
