Alia Wants Varun, But... What's Blocking Their Dulhania 3 Comeback? Tue March 04th, 2025

In the Hindi film business, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are one of the most adored on-screen duos. Fans of "VaRia" have a particular place in their hearts for the chemistry between the two actors, which dates back to their first appearance together as Student of the Year and the Dulhania series. The actress most recently responded to a question concerning her reunion with Dhawan for Dulhania 3.

Alia Bhatt rewarded her admirers on Sunday, February 2, by hosting a special gathering and lunch with them at a Mumbai restaurant. On the internet, a number of the event's inside photos and videos have gone viral. One video, among several, had the actress chatting with fans as they inquired about her reunion with Varun Dhawan for Dulhania 3.

Even though the actress was thrilled by the question, she responded politely to show her weakness, "Han par script honi chahiye na (A script should be there)." However, fans encouraged the actress by candidly quipping, "Hum fans bana lenge (We fans will make it)."

The actress was pleasantly pleased by this response, which made them even more excited, saying, "That’s a great idea. It will be the first of its kind. Why don’t you come together and write a script? It will be amazing. It’s a fabulous idea, in fact...chalo karo (Do it)."

In 2012, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt made their debuts alongside Sidharth Malhotra in Karan Johar's Student of the Year. They later appeared together on screen in the romantic comedies Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017) and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014). In addition to their strong on-screen chemistry, fans also greatly respect their friendship off-screen.
