Kiara Advani's Pregnancy Leads to Don 3 Exit!

According to reports, Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has withdrawn from Farhan Akhtar's much awaited movie Don 3 after announcing her pregnancy. Fans were left wondering what would happen to the action-packed franchise that starred Ranveer Singh after hearing this news. Here is all the information we currently have regarding Kiara's departure, her choice to put parenthood first, and what it means for Don 3.
In February 2024, it was confirmed that Kiara Advani would play the female protagonist alongside Ranveer Singh in Don 3. Since it was her first time working with director Farhan Akhtar and Singh, the announcement had generated excitement. But on March 1, 2025, a few days after announcing the happy news of her pregnancy, rumours surfaced that Kiara had chosen not to appear in the movie. The actress and the Don 3 crew reached a mutually agreed-upon resolution, according to a media report, with Kiara opting to concentrate on her personal life as she gets ready to have her first kid.
Her departure date coincides with her existing obligations. Kiara is finishing up filming Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups with Yash and War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. She reportedly intends to finish these projects before taking a well-earned vacation, so Don 3, which has not yet started production, is not in her immediate plans.
In February 2023, Kiara and Sidharth Malhotra announced their pregnancy on Instagram with the message, "The greatest gift of our lives," and a cute picture of tiny baby socks. Soon to come. Fans and Bollywood colleagues, including Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt, showered the news with affection.
Since Ranveer Singh was revealed as the new Don in August 2023, Don 3, the third entry in the venerable franchise that was first starring Amitabh Bachchan and then Shah Rukh Khan, has been the center of attention. According to Farhan Akhtar, filming will start in 2025, and Vikrant Massey is rumored to play the antagonist. However, Kiara's departure causes a hiccup in the production schedule. But as of yet, neither Farhan Akhtar nor the Don 3 crew have made an official announcement on Kiara's departure or her replacement, so there is still time for speculation to grow.
