In the middle of this, Tamannaah claimed she has received criticism for acting in private sequences in both Jee Karda and Lust Stories 2. The Baahubali actress talked about how the younger generation has a cheap mentality and has criticised her in a recent interview.
The 33-year-old actress spoke candidly about receiving backlash for performing intimate scenes in her two online shows Jee Karda and Lust Stories 2 in a recent interview with a media source. She admitted that she has seen sexist and misogynistic comments made against her on social media. The actress expressed her shock throughout the interview when she learned that people are ethically criticising her for such personal scenes. She detests the idea that teenagers have this kind of thinking in their heads.
Talking about gender discrimination when it comes to intimate scenes, Tamannaah Bhatia further added that male actors do not face backlash or criticism for performing intimate scenes but when a female actor does, people waste no time to judge her.
In the media chat, Tamannaah was asked to share the misogynist comment she has been hearing. The comment said, "Kya majboori thi ki ye aise scenes kar rahi hai." Reacting to the same, the actress said that she found it very "strange."
Bhatia further stated that she does not restrict herself to playing small roles because she aspires to develop professionally as an actress. She expressed her sorrow because the actress had not anticipated receiving such backlash for portraying private moments in her web series.
