Ranbir Kapoor's on-screen mom Charu opens up on 1st scene they shot together for film Animal! Wed September 04th, 2024

Ranbir Kapoor's film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was released in 2023, although it continues to cause debate even in 2024. Charu Shankar, who played Kapoor's on-screen mother, recently remarked on their first moment together, "The inter-character dynamics there are so raw and tense without any hostility in words."

Charu, who played Jyothi, the mother of Ranbir Kapoor's character Ranvijay Singh in Animal, spoke with the media about their first scene together. She described it as a family snapshot scene in which the participants' interactions were raw and tense, despite the fact that no antagonism was communicated verbally.

Charu played Ranbir Kapoor's on-screen mother, but she is actually only two years older than him. She reflected on this and mentioned, “My character was so very different from me in both age and personality.” Charu expressed gratitude for the positive feedback she received for her performance and stated that, as an actor, she frequently wonders what it would be like if their film became a huge success.
