Prakash Jha's Shocking Revelation About Aaditi Pohankar's Weight! Fri February 28th, 2025

In a recent interview, director Prakash Jha discussed his casting decisions for Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3: Part 2, acknowledging that he was first hesitant to select Aaditi Pohankar as Pammi. Although he noticed promise in her audition, he wasn't entirely satisfied and added that she didn't have the necessary strong body for the part, "The first day on set was challenging because she was too thin for the role."

During tryouts, Prakash Jha said in a media chat that he first questioned Aaditi Pohankar's suitability for the position. Because Pammi is shown in the series as a wrestler, she required a more muscular body, which Aaditi lacked at the time.

Although he thought Pohankar had potential during her audition, Prakash Jha said he wasn't totally sure she was the best candidate for the position. She looked too thin for the role of wrestler Pammi, he remembered, and it made the first day on set especially difficult.

She promised to put on weight, but when she came back a month later, she had only put on 750 grams. Jha said that he needed to be strict with her, stating unequivocally that he would be forced to recast the character if she failed to get the necessary physique.

Aaditi was determined to prove herself, so she gradually put on the required weight and eventually gave a fantastic performance. “My instinct about her during the audition proved right. Once the shoot started, she was incredible,” Jha further reevaled.

Prakash also praised Bobby for his incredible metamorphosis into Baba Nirala, saying that despite the actor's difficulties in his career, he had always believed in his abilities. He clarified that Bobby was the ideal candidate for the part since he wanted a well-known and reliable face.

Jha also praised the actor's commitment, recognizing the tremendous amount of effort he put into making the role come to life. On February 26, 2025, Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2 will be available on MX Player. Tridha Choudhury, Darshan Kumaar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Sachin Shroff, Anurita Jha, and Rajeev Siddhartha are also featured in the show.
