Abhishek Bachchan's Shocking Revelation About His Body Image!
Tue November 26th, 2024
Currently, Abhishek Bachchan is relishing the release of I Want To Talk, directed by Shootjit Sircar. His physical metamorphosis in the slice-of-life movie took everyone by surprise. The actor recently explained why he chose to display his potbellied persona in Dhoom rather than his abs.
In a media interview, Abhishek Bachchan acknowledged that the actor's conceit plays a significant role in the film, but he maintained that Shoojit Sircar choose him for the job because of it. Citing his past roles in films like Guru, Big Bull, and Bob Biswas, in which he had a large stomach, he said he was at ease letting go of that ego.
Abhishek showed his opinions by tearing off his inhibitions and said, "If you look the part, why not?" He also recalled how easily he had agreed to Shoojit Sircar's request for potbelly for the movie when he offered it to him.
The actor from I Want To Talk claimed that he was persuaded to play the role because he understood that the character needed it and that he was confident Sircar would perform it artistically and in a specific manner. He added that he didn't expose his tummy in Dhoom, but he did in I Want To Talk and Guru.
“The reasoning there was that the character, ACP Jai Dixit, is a tough guy; he is not going to walk around shirtless. He's not that guy. If anything, he'll have a vest. He doesn't need to show his body to assert his power. That was my thinking. Sometimes people get that, sometimes people don't. But I need to get it because I need to portray it,” he revealed.
Sircar reportedly questioned Bachchan if he felt comfortable wearing his underwear in a scene from the movie I Want To Talk. He claimed that it's clear that people typically wear bathrobes or underpants even at home, and he liked to depict that in relation to the role and the circumstance.
I Want To Talk, which was directed by Shoojit Sircar, opened in theaters on November 22, 2024. Johny Lever, Pearle Dey, Ahilya Bambroo, Jayant Kripalani, and Kristin Goddard all play important parts in the movie. The movie is showing in theaters right now.
