Imtiaz Ali's Heartfelt Review of Abhishek Bachchan's Film I Want To Talk!
Tue November 19th, 2024
I Want To Talk, starring Abhishek Bachchan, is already creating a stir before its November 2 release date. The film, which was directed by Shoojit Sircar, has attracted notice for its intriguing plot and strong acting. In his first social media review, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali praised Shoojit's direction for crafting an intensely emotional experience and hailed Abhishek's performance as his best to date.
Imtiaz Ali liked the movie and posted the I Want To Talk poster on his Instagram stories. He composed, "Senti kar diya yaar!!! @shoojitsircar" and added, "Highly recommended!!! The best of Abhishek @bachchan yet! Well done & best wishes Ritesh Shah."
In a previous media discussion, Abhishek Bachchan discussed how his daughter Aaradhya's definition of "courage" affected how he would play Arjun in his next movie. "Help" was the most brave word in the world, according to a character in a book Aaradhya had read as a child, he recalled.
He found great resonance in this straightforward yet potent concept, which went against the widespread notion that seeking assistance is a sign of weakness. Rather, Abhishek interprets it as a sign of fortitude and resolve to keep going.
He related this concept to his character Arjun in I Want To Talk, who encounters several difficulties. Arjun has persevered through decades of hardship, according to Abhishek. It would be simple to give up, but his character's attitude is one of unrelenting resilience, he said, underscoring the strength required to endure for more than 30 years.
Pearle Dey, Ahilya Bamroo, Jayant Kripalani, Kristin Goddard, and Johny Lever all have important roles in I Want To Talk in addition to Abhishek Bachchan. Ritesh Shah wrote the dialogue and the screenplay. The movie, which is being produced by Sheel Kumar and Ronnie Lahiri, will be released on November 22, 2024.
