Some posters featuring Vicky as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, have been released ahead of the official trailer's release. Katrina Kaif published the new posters on her Instagram Stories today, January 20, 2025, shortly after the film's creators revealed them on social media. When she saw her husband Vicky Kaushal's powerful avatar, she used fire emojis to show her pleasure. Katrina's response just serves to highlight how supportive and encouraging she is to Vicky.

Vicky Kaushal's persona was portrayed in the posters as a fusion of the elements vayu (air), agni (fire), jal (water), and prithvi (earth). The viewers' curiosity was piqued when they saw him on the battlefield brandishing various weapons.

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna will work together for the first time in Chhaava. Yesubai is played by the actress, and Aurangzeb is played by Akshaye Khanna.

Dinesh Vijan produces the historical drama under his Maddock Films label. It was written by Rishi Virmani and directed by Laxman Utekar. AR Rahman is the composer of the music. On Valentine's Day, February 14, 2025, Chhaava is slated to hit theaters. On January 22, the trailer is scheduled to arrive.
