Sara Ali Khan opens up about her nervousness to act in Attrangi Re! Tue June 25th, 2024

Sara Ali Khan has acted in multiple Bollywood movies, giving some of them standout performances. Her character in Attrangi Re is one of the most adored by fans from her body of work.

The actress played a Bihari girl in the Aanand L Rai film, which also featured Dhanush and Akshay Kumar in key parts. But are you aware of this? At first, the director was asked to give this role to Alia Bhatt by the Simmba actor.

Her third movie with Kartik Aaryan, Love Aaj Kal, did not do well, despite her two hits from her first film, Kedarnath, and her second film, Simmba. Sara Ali Khan even acknowledged that she was being dishonest after receiving criticism for her acting in this movie.

Speaking with a daily, the actress Sara Ali Khan said that she felt that she fell short in Love Aaj Kal and so it was an error on her part. She went on to say that the fact that this movie was not functioning aided her because, following the box office success of Kedarnath and Simmba, it would have been simple for her to stray.

She was offered Attrangi Re because Love Aaj Kal took a toll on her and she was not receiving credit for her job. Sara informed Aanand L Rai over the phone, “Atrangi Re is a great script. This character is outstanding. Are you sure you don’t want to call Alia Bhatt (to do the role instead)?’” She acknowledged that she was anxious, but working on this movie allowed her to get over her fears and move on.
