With their impressive wins at the recently completed 77th Cannes Film Festival, Indian artists have once again made us proud. For her role in The Shameless, Anasuya Sengupta made history by being the first performer from India to win the Best Actress prize in Un Certain Regard at the prestigious film festival.

Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, an actress and singer, recently shared a photo of herself with Sengupta and expressed her gratitude for the honor.
 
When Indian actress Anasuya Sengupta took the stage at the recently held 77th Cannes Film Festival and accepted the prize for Best Actress in Un Certain Regard for her role in The Shameless, it was a proud occasion for her.
 
Her achievement also greatly thrilled Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, who congratulated the actress a few hours ago on her significant victory.
