Nana Patekar's No-Retirement Stance: A Testament to His Passion!
Fri November 22nd, 2024
One of the most well-liked actors in the business, Nana Patekar has a straightforward demeanor. He entered the entertainment industry over forty years ago and continues to be driven to work harder and succeed. He recently talked to his friend and former co-star Anil Kapoor about his retirement intentions, saying that he is unsure about his plans outside of work because he could kill someone.
Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar had a conversation on the promotion of his next film, Vanvaas. They discussed a number of sentimental subjects and potential retirement plans during the talk. The 73-year-old was asked by Anil if he had ever made retirement plans. Patekar was momentarily perplexed and began to doubt the notion of retiring.
He stated that he cannot retire in an area with high levels of "pollution," which reflects the anarchy of the present world, and said, "Have you ever thought of retiring? How can I retire? There is so much happening in Agal-Bagal (around us), so much pollution, so much suffocation." It emphasized how performing gives the performer a sense of fulfillment and purpose in life.
"It's how I see the future because I don't know how I might function without work, whether behind or in front of the camera," he said confidently. He clarified, "We would have died. We would have gone mad. We would have killed someone. This is what we have. We can remove whatever we have. What would have happened to us?" In his response, he also shared how work has become an integral part of his life and how important it is to his sanity.
The actor from Parinda asked Kapoor, who is 67 years old and well-known for his work ethic and physical health, the same question. For a time, the latter was unsure of how to respond when Patekar joked that it would be "difficult" for the Animal actor to retire because his family wouldn't be able to put up with him. Anil concurred, resulting in a humorous moment.
Gadar 2 star Anil Sharma is the producer, writer, and director of Vanvaas. It will be released on December 20, 2024, and stars Nana Patekar and Utkarsh Sharma.
