Manoj Bajpayee opens up about losing his father while shooting for a TV series!
Manoj Bajpayee revealed that he asked his father to relinquish his body and go in peace after losing both of his parents in the space of six months. The action-drama Bhaiyaa Ji is the actor's upcoming project.

Renowned Indian actor Manoj Bajpayee had a number of little roles before he was recognized with a National Award. In addition to his intense preparation to win the roaster, the actor experienced a number of personal setbacks.

He revealed in an interview that while filming Killer Soup in a separate city, he had to ask his sick father to give up his body and accept death.

During a talk with a media source, Manoj Bajpayee said that he had lost both of his parents in a span of six months. Speaking of the difficult times, he revealed that in his final moments, he had to urge his father, RK Bajpayee, to quietly leave his body and end his agony.

The Gangs of Wasseypur star revealed how much he loved and how close his dad was to him. Their father was looked after by his siblings when he was in Kerala filming Killer Soup. But each time they spoke, he would assure him that he would come see him once the shoot was wrapped.

Sadly, though, that did not occur. He recalled how his sister had told him one day that their father had passed away, recalling the agonizing event. However, the physicians declared that he was not yet ready to go. Therefore, it will be up to him to ask him to leave his body and go in peace.

“This was the exact time when I was supposed to give a shot for Killer Soup and my spot boy was in the van. In front of him, I was talking to my father and I told him, ‘Bauji aap jaeye, bauji hogaeya (Father please go, it is time) and it was heartbreaking for me. My spot boy started crying, howling and I was going for my shot. That was the toughest moment for me but I dealt with it and early morning the next day, my father left,” the actor remembered with a heavy heart.

Manoj further revealed, “He was staying in that body to see me and when he heard me over the phone after a long time, he left his body.” The actor was last seen in the film Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout.
