Aamir Khan to regret about being absent from Junaid, Ira and Azad's lives! Tue August 27th, 2024

Aamir Khan, one of the most talented performers in the Hindi cinema industry, has three children: Ira Khan, Junaid Khan, and Azad Khan. Aamir has been open about his life lessons, the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha, and his longing for a relationship. His most recent interview on Rhea Chakraborty's podcast, Chapter 2, is all about it. Aamir recently pondered on his history and expressed sadness for being missing from the lives of his children, Ira, Junaid, and Azad. He also mentioned how he used to communicate with his directors but was unaware of his children's issues.

In a podcast with Rhea Chakraborty, Aamir Khan discussed how he prioritized his career over his children, Ira, Junaid, and Azad.

Aamir revealed that, while his daughter Ira is now healthier after battling depression, she "needed" him back then. When asked about his son Junaid, who made his debut with Maharaj this year, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor admitted that he had lived his life without him. Junaid is taking the "last big step" in his career, and the celebrity needs to be at his side, according to the Laapataa Ladies producer.

The 59-year-old actor also mentioned his younger son, who is nine years old, and said he will soon be a teenager. Azad's upbringing will never be relived, according to his concerned father.

While the superstar was preoccupied with his career, he made it clear that he cherished his family. "My focus was always on winning over the audience. I had no idea about their feelings or needs when they were young," he told. "I knew everything about my team and directors but was unaware of my own children’s challenges,” emotional Aamir further added.

Aamir Khan will now appear in R S Prasanna's forthcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par. It also features Genelia D'Souza and Darsheel Safary.
