Yami Gautam reveals about Aditya Dhar not casting her in Dhoom Dhaam!

With the success of her most recent film, Article 370, behind her, Yami Gautam is poised to become a mother shortly. The actress and her husband, Aditya Dhar, confirmed their pregnancy during the film's trailer launch. This will be the actress's first kid. Well, this wasn't the actress and her husband's first movie together. She previously collaborated with him at URI. The actress, who will soon work alongside her husband as a producer on Dhoom Dhaam, revealed in a recent interview that she had always wanted to be the movie's lead character.
Yami Gautam joked in an interview with a media channel that while she doesn't expect her husband to put her in every one of his movies, she has always wanted to be the lead role in Dhoom Dhaam, which would be portrayed by a man. She went on to say that she wished she was a boy after reading her husband Aditya Dhar's upcoming screenplay. “The script is so brilliant. It’s such an amazing world. Regardless of that, I don’t have that expectation,” she added.
The Article 370 actress says that since the beginning, despite the fact that she and Aditya are both in this competitive sector, their understanding has existed. “There’s this trust that we’ve in each other as individuals and professionals. He’s the same person who cast me in Uri and gave me Article 370 and Dhoom Dhaam,” she states.
When it comes to casting in his movies, Yami Gautam said she would be cool with Aditya choosing someone else to play the role he is scripting. “We respect that professional line. I don’t think that the line between professional and personal life should be blurred. We’re very clear about it.” The actress went on to say that more significant than the quantity of roles he gives her is the fact that Aditya has empowered her both personally and as an actor. She continued by saying that he had not only provided her one or two movies but also assisted her in developing a mental image that will serve her well for the next thirty years while she works on thirty more movies.
