Todd Phillips opens up on his potential future in DC Universe after Joker! Fri October 04th, 2024

Joker: Folie à Deux is now showing in theatres after its predecessor's incredible success in 2019. With the first film's spectacular entry, Todd Phillips directed, and fans are looking for another project along these lines.

Harley Quinn, portrayed by Lady Gaga, is first introduced to us in the second Joker installment. Margot Robbie's portrayal of the legendary DC female nemesis has won over fans' hearts in the past. After Joker: Folie à Deux came out, many asked Phillips if he would ever consider doing a stand-alone Harley Quinn movie.

The Due Date filmmaker talked about the possibility of future tales in the newly created DC Universe. He stated, “It’s not really where this movie is headed for me. I feel like my time in the DC Universe was these two films.”

The director said these things when being questioned by a tabloid at the current musical entry's Los Angeles premiere.

For those who don't know, the director of The Hangover trilogy has stated that he has no desire to create a Joker 3.

Lady Gaga portrays Arthur Fleck, also known as the Joker, who is portrayed by the renowned Joaquin Phoenix. The two get together while Fleck is awaiting trial for the atrocities he did in the last film, and he is being held at Arkham State Hospital.

The Joker, the performer from Walk the Line, won an Oscar in 2019 after earning over $1 billion.
