Britney Spears has spoken out about another horrifying fire incident that occurred four years after she unintentionally set fire to her home gym. The pop singer revealed the specifics of a fireplace mishap that happened about six months ago, leaving her with burns on her face as well as singed brows and eyelashes, in a recent Instagram post.

The 42-year-old singer Britney Spears described how she was in her chamber when the fire burst in her face. Spears, who spoke with a British daily, disclosed that she had previously experienced problems lighting her fireplace and that she usually had her security staff do it. But this time, she made the terrible decision to handle it herself. “I just threw the whole thing in there, and it literally blew into my face,” she clarified.

The person that was with her did not wake up, so Spears had to handle the problem by herself. Her hair was singed by the explosion, and she was so burned that she thought she might have to go to the ER. “It took all my eyelashes off, my eyebrows, and — see these baby bangs? These are from it sizzling all my hair,” she disclosed.

The pop artist said that the excruciating pain persisted for several hours and made it impossible for her to touch her phone or put ice on her face. After taking three Tylenol, which she compared to taking "f–king Vicodin," Spears was able to fall asleep at last. Thinking back on the event, she told, “It was really bad… All is good now.”
