Rakesh Roshan's Controversial Remarks on South Indian Films!
Through his acting, directing, and production endeavors, seasoned director Rakesh Roshan has enchanted audiences with his contributions to Indian cinema. As the debate over South vs. Bollywood films continues to rage online, the director of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai has taken to the platform to express his opinions, saying that South films are not "progressing."

Rakesh Roshan said in a recent interview with a station that South movies are "grounded" and still use the conventional song-action-dialogue emotional structure. "They’re not progressing. Technically, they are, but storytelling-wise, they’re doing the same formulas that work. They’re successful because they’re not breaking any path,” he told.

The Hindi cinema business, in Roshan's opinion, is "breaking paths." He used his own experience to illustrate his point, emphasizing that he had no desire to do another love movie after Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Rather, he produced Koi Mil Gaya, which popularized the heroic persona of Hrithik Roshan. “These are the challenges we took. They don’t take them. They play on safe grounds,” he further revealed.

Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, which was first released in 2000, is currently being enjoyed by Rakesh Roshan. Ameesha Patel and his son, Hrithik Roshan, were first introduced to the industry by the movie. The romance story has become a cult favorite among moviegoers over time.
