Jallianwala's Echoes: Kesari Chapter 2 Arrives on OTT! Mon March 24th, 2025

In less than a month, Kesari Chapter 2 will be released to the public on large screens. R. Madhavan, Ananya Panday, and Akshay Kumar are among the cast members of the historical drama. It has been revealed where the film would be accessible to the public following its theatrical run, before of its premiere in theatres. JioHotstar will host the OTT release of Kesari Chapter 2.

JioHotstar is Kesari Chapter 2's streaming partner, based on the official teaser that was just posted. If the audience is unable to see the film in cinemas, they can relive the experience from the comfort of their homes or view it for the first time on OTT. The date of the courtroom drama's digital release is yet unknown, though.

The film's 1-minute, 39-second teaser gives an overview of the Jallianwala Bagh atrocity and the ensuing revolt. Lawyer C. Sankaran Nair, who opposed the British Empire, is portrayed by Akshay Kumar. The Case That Shook the Empire, authored by Raghu and Pushpa Palat, is the basis for the movie.

The caption of the teaser read, “A hero that rose from the ashes of a massacre. A revolution that was painted in courage.”

The title wasn't disclosed until 2024, when the movie was first unveiled. According to the announcement, “THE UNTITLED FILM ON the shocking cover-up of a massacre that pushed India's top barrister C. SANKARAN NAIR to fight an unprecedented battle against the British Empire.”

Karan Johar shared his thoughts on Kesari Chapter 2 prior to the teaser release. He revealed, “One can never predict commercial success BUT what I can say with all my heart is that this film is one of Dharma's proudest films!”

On April 18, 2025, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story Of Jallianwala Bagh is expected to be released in theatres. Karan Singh Tyagi is the director of the film starring R. Madhavan, Ananya Panday, and Akshay Kumar. Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari are the producers of the movie.
