Rakesh Roshan opens up about Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish 4!

While Hrithik Roshan prepares to premiere his eagerly anticipated next film, Fighter, his devoted fans are anticipating the actor to return to his superhero role in the eagerly anticipated fourth Krrish film, named Krrish 4. According to latest media conjectures and updates, Krrish 4 is undoubtedly in production. A few intriguing details regarding the upcoming superhero movie starring Hrithik Roshan have already been revealed by the movie's producer and director, Rakesh Roshan.
The talented filmmaker and former actor discussed how Krrish 4 is a "big film" for him and why the dwindling attendance at theaters and multiplexes concerns him in a media interview with a daily. Regarding the same, Rakesh Roshan revealed, “What is happening is that the audience is still not coming back to the theatres, so that is a big question mark for me. Krrish is going to be a big film. The world has become smaller and kids today are used to seeing Hollywood superhero films that are made on budgets of like 500-600 million dollars. Meanwhile, we have a small budget of Rs 200-300 crore in comparison.”
Roshan further added, “How to give that look to the film? I can, of course, decide to have 4 action sequences instead of 10, but that action has to match up with the quality. The VFX quality needs to be good. We are seeing how the budget and production costs can all be maintained. Big films that are released these days are not doing so well.”
Roshan's affirmation that Krrish 4 will be released is a promising way to end the interview. Roshan assured the crowd that there would be a fourth installment. he further stated, “We are absolutely ready to take the step forward. However, looking at the situation today where films are not doing well and collections are not matching the production costs, we are not immediately looking at it. It is going to happen, but not for a year. Probably after that.”
Krrish 3, the third installment in the popular superhero franchise, was released in 2013. It was directed by Rakesh Roshan. In addition to Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Vivek Oberoi, Naseeruddin Shah, and others, Krrish 3 featured these actors.
