Bhushan Kumar's suggestion to Sandeep Reddy Vanga over film Animal related memes and criticism!
After its December 2023 premiere, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal went on to become one of Bollywood's highest grossing films. While most people enjoyed the movie, some viewers found certain scenes to be offensive. The discussion around the movie also became much more heated as a result of Vanga's response to criticism.
 
Producer Bhushan Kumar has now discussed the director's reactive style, claiming to have told him not to worry.
 
Bhushan Kumar discussed Sandeep Reddy Vanga's response to memes and criticism regarding Animal in a recent media chat. He claimed that occasionally he's 'not' okay with it and answers excessively. Bhushan further revealed that he continues telling him not to worry since it will help their movie.
 
"All said and done. It has become a cult film. Everybody is waiting for part 2. We've done 900 crores of gross all over the world, so it's humungous. People want to talk, let them talk; that doesn't bother us," he quoted.
 
Bhushan continued, saying that the movie is staying in theaters, which is "good for us" since it gets renewed attention on Netflix and makes it back into the Top 10 when people start having "controversy talks."
 
On his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap's podcast, Anurag Kashyap recently discussed Animal. It will take five to ten more years for people to fully comprehend the film's significance, he claimed, despite its excellent technical qualities.
