Housefull 5: The TRUTH About John Abraham's Rejection!

One of the most well-known comic book series in Bollywood is Housefull. With a fantastic ensemble cast, Akshay Kumar is now scheduled to return for the upcoming film. Recently, John Abraham, who starred in the second part, disclosed that he was asked to participate in Housefull 5. He revealed that he decided against it since he believed that something better was in store for him.
John Abraham stated in a media chat that although he was offered Housefull 5, he decided not to accept the offer.
He revealed, “I felt there was a better space for me reserved somewhere else.” During the conversation, John also shared that he would love to do a situational or dark comedy with Akshay Kumar.
Housefull 5, which was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Tarun Mansukhani, is scheduled to open in theaters on June 6, 2025. According to reports, it is a murder mystery that takes place on a cruise liner. The creators have pledged “a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with laughter, hard work, and unforgettable memories.”
Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Dino Morea, Shreyas Talpade, Nikitin Dheer, Johny Lever, Chunky Panday, Ranjeet, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangda Singh, and Akashdeep Sabir are part of the cast.
John talked candidly about the prospect of working with Akshay Kumar again on a comedy film in another media chat. In reference to Desi Boyz 2 or Garam Masala 2, he said, “Yes, we are very excited about making either or both of those films happen because they'll be fun. For me, working with Akshay is like going on a holiday. He’s a nice bloke. So we’ll have a good time.”
John went on to say that he and Akshay had a strong relationship and truly liked each other's company.
