With Footpath, Emraan Hashmi made his acting debut in 2003. However, the erotic thriller Murder from 2004 is what made him famous and won him awards. He demonstrated his abilities once more after two decades in the business, this time as the antagonist Aatish Rehman in the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif film Tiger 3.
The actor, who is occupied with other ventures, had a podcast conversation with Shubhankar Mishra. He was praising Ranbir Kapoor and the film Animal at the time of this conversation. Regarding that, the Zeher actor said he hasn't seen any of Kapoor's movies from his "chocolate boy phase."

Emraan did, however, go on to say that he was astounded by Kapoor's portrayal of the gray character in Animal because of how committed and convincing it was. He revealed, “I have watched Animal and I think its commendable how he played a character, with gray shades and is not easy to like, with such conviction. This is commendable,” Hashmi added.
Following his brief appearance in Ae Watan Mere Watan, directed by Sara Ali Khan, Emraan Hashmi began filming two forthcoming South Indian movies.
