Posing with fans on set as Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri start filming the Dhadak sequel. As anticipation for the movie grows, pictures from the shoot are going viral.

The initial images from the sets of Dhadak 2, which was formally revealed by Karan Johar in May, show Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri starting the filming. The images, which show the pair posing with supporters, are becoming very popular.

Filming for Dhadak 2, the follow-up to the 2018 movie starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, has officially started for Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. Images of the pair posing with fans from the sets are going viral.

While the Animal actress, dressed in tailored black pants and a matching t-shirt, strikes a happy stance in another picture, Siddhant, wearing loose-fitting trousers and a t-shirt, is seen grinning with fans. A fan teased the new movie by posting the images to Instagram with the message, "Here comes a silent love story into your hearts coming 22 November Dhadak 2."

Meanwhile, it was reported that Karan Johar is expanding the Dhadak universe into a franchise, bringing Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri on board for the next chapter.

The spiritual follow-up to the 2018 blockbuster starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, Dhadak 2, features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. The film, which was directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Karan Johar, Umesh KR Bansal, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa, and Somen Mishra, examines a singular love tale.

In a post hinting to the movie, Karan Johar said it was about a king and queen from different castes.

He penned in Hindi, “Yeh kahani hai thodi alag kyuki ek tha raja, ek thi raani, jaat alag thi, khatam kahani (This story is a little different because there was a king, there was a queen - their castes were different… end of story). A voiceover by Siddhant suggests emotional strain as the movie's motion poster depicts Siddhant and Triptii's characters in a private moment: "Jo sapna tum dekh rahi ho Vidhi, usme mere liye koi jagah nahi hai." There is no room for me in the dream you have, Vidhi.

"Toh phir yeh bhi bata do Neelesh ki in feelings ka kya karun?" is the response from Triptii's character. Neelesh, tell me what I should do with my emotions. Zee Studios, Dharma Productions, and Cloud 9 Pictures will present Dhadak 2.
