Shahid Kapoor's Heartfelt Confession About His Father! Fri January 24th, 2025
Shahid Kapoor's Heartfelt Confession About His Father!
The Deva actor Shahid Kapoor recently talked about the importance of fathers in children's lives and acknowledged that he spent a lot of time with his grandfather as a child because his father, Pankaj Kapur, had business obligations. He revealed, "Parents are like two feet on the ground. If one parent is missing, the balance is lost, and the structure doesn't work."

Shahid Kapoor discussed the value of a male presence in a child's life in a media interaction. He added that his maternal grandfather had a big influence on his life and that he was very close to him. Since his father wasn't always there and was always there for him without conditions, he thought that his grandfather was filling in for him.

The actor from Jab We Met also shared memories of his grandfather, mentioning the golf cap that had a deep impact on him. He talked about how his grandfather wore a watch with a crack in it every day and how he can still remember his grandfather's big black glasses.

The actor from Udta Punjab said that his grandfather had a profound influence on him and was a nice and caring person who was also a gifted writer, very philosophical, and well-read.

Shahid recalled with nostalgia how his grandfather would always walk him to school when he was a child. He said that this daily routine established the bar for him as a parent and helped shape his own conception of what it meant to be a parent.

The Deva actor also revealed that he has a different dynamic with his son and that he thinks his child feels safer in his presence. He experiences this more with his son, even if it equally applies to his daughter.

Though he acknowledges that he doesn't fully understand how it works, he thought about the special masculine energy that exists between a father and son and felt that they feed off one another.
