Celebs review the highly anticipated series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar!

On May 1, the eagerly awaited Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar television series finally hit theatres. With an impressive cast that includes Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Manisha Koirala, and others, the show is director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's first for OTT.
A few days ago, a special screening of the series was held in Mumbai, where a number of celebrities, including Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt, attended in style. They can be heard expressing their gratitude for the event in a recently discovered video.
A unique video from the Mumbai premiere was recently posted on Netflix India's official Instagram account. Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is available for streaming on this platform. Numerous well-known figures from the entertainment business gave their reviews and opinions about the show in the video.
Since learning that Sanjay Leela Bhansali was producing the show, Alia Bhatt claimed to have been anticipating it. She shared, “Portrayed on Netflix, and where the whole world will see his artistry. You get hours and hours of sir, so I am so excited for that.” Notably, Alia and Bhansali are teaming up again for Love & War after previously working together on Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Vicky Kaushal, who will co-star with Alia and Ranbir Kapoor in Love & War, said, "The world-building that Sanjay Sir is capable of doing is just unmatchable."
Vijay Varma called Heeramandi a "magnificent drama," while Shantanu Maheshwari, Gangubai Kathiawadi’s Afsaan, exclaimed, “Sanjay Sir, hats off, jo harkatein karte hain, karwate hain artists se (The things he does and makes the artists do), it's amazing. You just know yeh sir hi karwa sakte hain (Only SLB can make them do it)."
Wamiqa Gabbi summed up the historical drama in one word: "sparkly." She went on to say that this particular scene exhibited the essence of Sanjay sir's epic filmmaking in terms of characters and stories.
Sayani Gupta praised the show as "Beautiful" and highlighted Richa Chadha's performance in particular from the second episode. Ankita Lokhande described it as "fantastic," while Sharman Joshi described it as "absolutely magical." It was "larger than life," in Adah Sharma's opinion.
"Gorgeous, magnificent, magical—the stars could not stop gushing about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's beautiful world at Heeramandi's Premiere!" was the caption on a Netflix post.
