Nushrratt Bharuccha gained recognition for her parts in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Love Sex Aur Dhokha. Over the course of her career, she has amassed an incredible filmography that includes hits like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. But did you know that her family used to think acting was just a hobby and that she would give it up in two months?

In an earlier interview with a media source, the actress discussed her experiences in the industry and her family's reaction to her choice to pursue a career in acting. She told the agency that she thought no one in her situation would have had a dream lasting so long.

 

The Dream Girl actress talked about her family's reaction to her desire to pursue a career in acting. She revealed, “Everybody in my family thought it (acting) is a hobby and I will be done with it in two months and I will do something else. I don't know what exactly was that one thing that kept me going. It feels this is what I was meant to do and it does give me a lot of joy.”

 

In the same interview, she disclosed that she doesn't have any family in the film industry and spoke about overcoming setbacks and disappointments. “I don't have connections. I did films that were majorly male-centric. I have had my share of setbacks and dealt with it,” the actress disclosed.

 

She went on to remark that every individual has a different journey and set of difficulties.

“First, the problem is one doesn't get the scripts and roles they like to do. They wait and settle for the ones that are offered and are best. Then when one becomes successful then (also) it is like 'What to do next?' So that struggle is there,” Pyaar Ka Punchnama star ended her chat.
