Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal jet off for the world premiere of their film Girls Will Be Girls!

The well-known actors-turned-producers Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are getting ready to premiere Girls Will Be Girls at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in 2024. With its captivating plot, this World Dramatic Cinema contender promises to captivate audiences. Ali and Richa are excited to present their labor of love on a global platform, and they have left for Park City, Utah, in the United States. The 20th of January has been set aside for this momentous occasion and the global premiere.
The production companies of Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, Pushing Buttons Studios, Blink Digital, Crawling Angel Films, and Dolce Vita Films, have partnered to create Girls Will Be Girls. The film, directed by Shuchi Talati, is set in a boarding school that is tucked away in a quaint northern Indian hill hamlet overlooking the Himalayas. The narrative centers on a sixteen-year-old girl's rebellious path, played by Preeti Panigrahi, and it delves into her mother's unfulfilled coming-of-age experience, expertly represented by the gifted Kani Kusruti. Important parts are also played by Jitin Gulati and Kesav Binoy Kiron in this gripping story.
Richa Chadha shows off her enthusiasm, saying, "Getting through in such a competitive cinema festival is itself a big deal. I have high hopes from Shuchi as a director and the rank newcomers as actors. Kani, the world has witnessed her brilliance again in Killer Soup. I feel blessed”.
