Sooraj Barjatya: Anxiety Pills After Sending Uunchai Script to Amitabh Bachchan!

Due to his innumerable outstanding performances, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has amassed a sizable fan following and a highly esteemed reputation in Indian cinema. Now, after submitting the actor the script, filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya talked about his experience overcoming his nervousness and getting a response. He even acknowledged that he had taken an anxiety medication before to reading the message.
During his exploration of several topics, Sooraj Barjatya revealed in a media chat that Uunchai struck a deep chord with him, giving him the impression that he was destined to lead it. He chose to accept the challenge since nothing else seemed to be fitting.
He was motivated to finish the story even if it didn't fit his typical approach. He revealed that the writing was finished in a few months.
The director also disclosed that getting Amitabh Bachchan to agree to the part was the most difficult task. He described the seasoned actor's commanding presence by saying, "He listens with his (eyes), he doesn’t blink. And he is scary. It’s so scary. I sent the story across and he sent a message on a Zoom call. I had two anxiety medicines before opening it up.”
Meanwhile, Uunchai, which marks Sooraj Barjatya's long-awaited comeback to filmmaking, also stars Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, and Sarika are among the film's outstanding ensemble cast members.
