Priya Banerjee Breaks Silence on Babbar Family's Absence from Wedding! Mon February 17th, 2025

On Valentine's Day, actors Priya Banerjee and Prateik Babbar exchanged vows in a secret ceremony. However, there were reports of family strife because Prateik's father, veteran actor-politician Raj Babbar, and his half-siblings, Aarya and Juhi Babbar, were conspicuously absent. Finally speaking out, Priya addressed the rumors by saying, "Everyone who mattered was with us."

In a media interaction with a daily, Priya Banerjee addressed rumors that Prateik Babbar's family was not present during their wedding festivities, stating that no family members were absent.

She denied the rumors, saying that her parents, Prateik's aunts, who reared him, and his grandparents were among their loved ones present. Everyone who was important and regarded as family was present to join them in celebrating, she underlined.

Banerjee reflected on her wedding day and said it went exactly as she and Prateik Babbar had planned. With all of their closest loved ones in one location, she said it was a private and memorable event. She disclosed that the wedding was held in Rock Cliff, a home that belonged to Prateik's late mother Smita Patil, which added even more significance to the day.

Priya clarified that although his mother had bought the house with the goal of residing there and raising him, events had prevented this from happening. She said they thought the house was a present from her, as though she had wanted them to start their new life there.

Although the pair has always been transparent about their relationship, some were caught off guard by their unexpected nuptials. Priya revealed that because she and Prateik have been living together for almost five years, being married to him doesn't feel any different. They have such a strong bond that it feels like she has known him for ages, she continued.
