Neena Gupta, a veteran actor, is well-known for her candid comments. A few days ago, the actress discussed her opinions in an interview and emphasized the value of financial independence for people of all genders. She also used her own experience to support her claim that women require men. She continued the conversation by labeling feminism as "faltu," which sparked harsh reactions online. The actress from Badhaai Ho responded to this recently and clarified what she had said.

While speaking to a daily, Neena Gupta was quoted as saying, “What they did is that they only used that chunk from the whole interview for promotions, to create a controversy. It said that I don’t believe in ‘faltu feminism’, and after that people are fighting amongst each other. If one person is cursing me for saying that, someone else says, ‘What do you know? Watch the whole interview’. There should be a reference to what I said.”

The actress also acknowledged that she is now more deliberate than ever about the postings she makes on social media, which has led to a large following. She acknowledged having erred in the past. However, she said that when she gets upset or gets into a fight with someone, she doesn't post anything on social media.

“One should also not post if they are drunk, because if you do, then you regret it later. Thoda sambhalna padta hai (You have to be careful). You have to use the right language because a lot of people are listening to what you say. I have goofed up big time, too,” she stated.
