Jaya Bachchan opens up on quietly supporting Amitabh Bachchan!

What The Hell Navya dropped yet another exciting episode yesterday. The focus of this episode was Navya Naveli Nanda, Jaya Bachchan, and Shweta Bachchan discussing how to deal with setbacks and overcome obstacles. The seasoned actress talked candidly about the difficult period in 1990 when she and megastar Amitabh Bachchan came dangerously close to bankruptcy during this conversation. The actress talked about being her husband's silent supporter.
Recalling the difficult period, Jaya Bachchan underlined the need of silently helping those you love when things are hard. The seasoned actress described how she supported Amitabh Bachchan through a difficult period in his career. She clarified that at various points in her life, they experienced all kinds of failures. She went on to say that when a man is going through a difficult time, “it’s nice to just be there and be quiet for them. It’s nice to be silently standing there and saying, Listen, I am here for you.”
Shweta Bachchan, Jaya's daughter, felt differently about it. She said she didn't think her mother was right. She even holds the opinion that a man occasionally needs words of encouragement rather than just her silent support. She went on to say that she wanted to take a more active part. She told, "Sometimes, I feel all that a man needs is, 'Hey, listen, maybe you should think of it this way.’" She further added, "I'd like to play a more proactive role because I'm a problem solver."
Jaya Bachchan, her daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda, and her granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda talked about the veteran actress' decision to stay off social media in a previous episode. She could be heard saying, "There's enough that the world knows about us. We don't need to share on Instagram."
