Aditya Dhar refutes Article 370 being a government propaganda film!

Due to its contentious political theme, the trailer for Article 370 was released on Thursday and quickly became a topic of conversation on social media. Actresses Yami Gautam and Priyamani, along with director Aditya Suhas Jambhale and producer Aditya Dhar, unveiled the trailer at a lavish ceremony in Mumbai. Some viewers claim that the movie is propaganda from the government. Dhar responded to the accusations during the trailer's premiere, stating that the current administration has constructed Ram Mandir and that they are not dependent on a little movie like Article 370 to win elections.
A portion of the audience has been accusing the creators of Article 370 of producing a government propaganda film and releasing it right before the elections ever since the teaser was made public. Replying to the allegations, Aditya Dhar told, "The current government does not need a small film like Article 370 to win the elections. They have built the Ram Mandir which no one could for the past hundreds of years, so I don't think they need to rely on us or the supposed propaganda which is being discussed."
The film's producer went on to say that Article 370 is a thoughtfully written, well-researched, and heartfelt film, as he himself a Kashmiri Pandit. When people dismiss this feeling and term it a propaganda movie, he said it is unfair. "But the Indian audience is very smart. They know which film is propaganda and which is not and they will decide its fate," he further added.
The director of the 2019 hit movie Uri: The Surgical Strike, Aditya, remembered when the movie was referred to as a propaganda piece. "There was a similar narrative before the release of Uri: The Surgical Strike, but we all saw what happened later. It was a blockbuster. So, I will choose to ignore these remarks and continue making films as long as my intent is right. The day there is a wrong intention in my filmmaking, I'll quit doing it altogether," he ended the chat.
The movie is based on the central government's removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, which it said was encouraging terrorism and corruption. The film has Arun Govil, Kiran Karmarkar, Priyamani, and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. The movie, which is planned for release on February 23, was directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and produced by Aditya Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande, and Lokesh Dhar.
