Loveyapa Dance Twist: Farah Khan Cuts Junaid Khan's Moves! Wed February 05th, 2025

Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan, will star alongside Khushi Kapoor in Advait Chandan's romantic comedy Loveyapa. In a recent interview, Khan disclosed that Farah Khan first requested him to sit and watch Khushi Kapoor dance instead of performing in the film, which is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 7, 2025.

In a media chat, Junaid Khan described how choreographer Farah Khan opted to eliminate his dance sequence during the filming of a song in Loveyapa. He disclosed that although her helpers had first taught him the dances during rehearsals, Farah decided to keep only Khushi Kapoor's dancing after seeing his performance.

He remembered how Khushi did the dancing, and she watched his try, then joked that he wouldn't be able to do it and should just walk instead.

Junaid Khan acknowledged in a media chat that he was first surprised to be chosen for the part since he thought his demeanour was so different from the character's. He even questioned whether the director was certain he was the appropriate pick.

Despite his hesitancy, he stated that producer Madhu Mantena and director Advait Chandan were completely confident in their choice to cast him.

Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan also discussed how Loveyapa is a replica of the Tamil movie Love Today. According to Junaid, Advait Chandan had approached him about the idea, telling him that he had obtained the original film's rights and recommending that he see it.

He revealed that he was instantly drawn to the movie's plot, which centers on a young man visiting his girlfriend's family only to have her father insist that they switch phones. In addition, he commended Pradeep Ranganathan for his outstanding performance in Love Today, emphasizing his roles as the film's writer, director, and star.

In addition to Junaid and Khushi, Ashutosh Rana and Kiku Sharda play significant parts in Loveyapa. On February 7, 2025, the movie will be released in theatres.
