Sushmita Sen opens up on life after her heart attack! Mon August 21st, 2023

The success of her most recent television project, Taali, a biopic of transgender rights campaigner Gauri Sawant, has Sushmita Sen on a high right now. The actress recently praised her fans for their unending support and adoration of Taali after the series garnered an overwhelmingly positive reception. Sushmita Sen said that she had a severe heart attack in March of this year, underwent angioplasty, and had a stent put in. The Taali actress recently discussed how her life has altered since surviving the heart attack in an interview.

Sushmita Sen was asked how her life has altered since surviving the heart attack during an interview with a media source. The actress said it had helped her become "more fearless" and that she is now more conscious of the greater reason for which she is alive. “I’ve become very aware of the fact that there’s a bigger purpose that I’m here for. That’s mostly what has changed.”

After the health crisis, she admitted that she used to take everything for granted before but is now more conscious of why she is still alive. “I’m aware why I’m still here given the episode that it was. My latest show Taali is also a step forward in the right direction,” revealed Sushmita.

Sushmita Sen went live on Instagram in March to give a health update following the heart attack. She admitted that her main artery was 95% blocked and said that she survived the severe heart attack because of her active lifestyle. She continued by stating how fortunate she is to have come out of this.
