Yash opens up about the casting of SRK in his next Toxic!
Rocking Star Yash is ready to start his next project after the huge success of the KGF series. The film's title, Toxic, and Geetu Mohandas's directing credit were disclosed by the producers in December.
 
There have been rumours in the Bollywood recently that Shah Rukh Khan has been asked to make a brief appearance in the next mafia action thriller movie. There was, however, no formal confirmation of it. KGF star Yash responded to the commotion at a press conference on February 14th, according to the most recent report. The actor disclosed that there has been no confirmation as of now.
 
During the interview, the actor stated that there has been no confirmation of Shah Rukh Khan's appearance as of yet. He also said that the cast of the movie will be revealed shortly, and that everyone will be informed at that time. He asked fans to only trust information obtained from verified sources.
 
There has been industry talk that Toxic's creators had approached SRK about a major part. It is acknowledged that the given role featured a proper character arc and was essentially an extended cameo. According to reports, the Jawan actor has neither confirmed or denied doing the movie and would soon inform the filmmakers of his choice.
 
In addition to being Geetu Mohandas' first film as a director in the Kannada film industry, Toxic is also her first project with Yash. It is understood that the film revolves around a drug cartel in Goa, and is said to be made on a massive budget. It's also said that the movie has a fantastic plot and substance.

The KGF actor remarked in the interview claiming that Toxic is not a pan-Indian film, but rather a pan-world one. It was reported earlier that Kareena Kapoor will be playing the female lead in the film. Additionally, official confirmation on this is awaited.
