Sabyasachi Mukherjee reveals an interesting fact about Deepika's Konkani wedding saree!

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in an intimate ceremony at Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy. The two tied the knot after 6 years of relationship on November 14-15. Deepika and Ranveer married as per two traditions, Konkani and Sindhi. After the marriage was over, everybody was curious to know who was the designer behind the newly-weds’ costume. Later when the duo released their first photograph, it became known that it was Sabyasachi Mukherjee who had dressed Deepika and Ranveer.
Recently, Sabyasachi took to Instagram to divulge an important fact about Deepika Padukone’s Konkani wedding saree. As per Konkani customs, the bride’s mother gifts the wedding saree to the daughter. Thus, Sabyasachi Mukherjee disclosed that Deepika Padukone’s golden saree which she wore for the Konkani ceremony was gifted to her by her mother Ujjala Padukone. She had given the saree to Sabyasachi Mukherjee for more work.
