A lot of people weren't fond of a statement Nora Fatehi made about feminism back in April. The model-actress had taken up the right fight with the wrong words, supporting the idea of starting a family. In case her remarks in the past offended anyone, Nora has now expressed her regret in a public conversation with a tabloid.
Nora Fatehi stated that she doesn't think I need anyone and that men and women are not equal in an old media chat. "I don't think this crap exists. Nora had stated, "In fact, I think feminism f***** up our society," adding that she didn't really identify with the notion of being innately autonomous.
She disclosed, “I think women are nurturers, yes, they should go to work and have their own life and be independent but to a certain extent.” Although others refer to it as an antiquated, conventional way of thinking, Fatehi said she believed it to be a normal way of thinking. The actress from Crakk has, however, continued to support women's rights while cautioning that radical feminism poses a threat to society.
The 32-year-old has now expanded on her previous statement in a recent media talk, saying that it's acceptable for the West to promote the idea that "I can do everything by myself." On the other hand, nuclear families and two-person homes should be supported since they may contribute to raising future members of society.
Nora's statement that her comment was misinterpreted, she shared further, “I definitely apologize for making people upset and hurting them, but that was not the intention at all.” She further said that she’s well educated and can put out her opinions based on her experiences in life. Fatehi added, “I don't want what's happening in the West to happen in this part of the world because there's nothing better than upholding traditions and values and morals.”
Nota Fatehi's most recent film appearance was in Kunal Khemu's Madgaon Express.
