Akshay Kumar to unite again with Khel Khel Mein director Mudassar Aziz!
August 15 saw the release of Khel Khel Mein, starring Pragya Jaiswal, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Taapsee Pannu, and Akshay Kumar. Sadly, Stree 2 by Shraddha Kapoor gave it competition, and it did not fare as well as expected. Despite this, Mudassar Aziz, the film's director, stated that he would love to collaborate with Akshay once more, citing their close relationship throughout the shoot. He said, “The way he and I have bonded through the making of this film, I don't see how he and I will not collaborate.”

The director of Khel Khel Mein, Mudassar Aziz, discussed a number of subjects in a media conference, including potential future projects involving Akshay Kumar. Despite not having completed any upcoming projects, he noted that the close bond they created throughout the film suggests they will certainly work together again in the future.

He also talked about Akshay's choice for the movie, saying that Kumar was always meant to play the part of plastic surgeon Rishabh Malik, who is renowned for his sly and hilarious qualities. Aziz emphasized that Kumar was the ideal choice for the part because of his capacity to play a guy who lies while still having a sense of mischief. He said, “It was cemented in my head. Akshay Kumar lying on screen is very beautiful because he lies with a glint of naughtiness in his eyes. So that was unmistakable.”

Regarding his career, Akshay Kumar will next be seen with Sara Ali Khan, Veer Pahariya, and Nimrat Kaur in Sky Force. The movie will now be released on January 24, 2025 instead of October 2, 2024 as originally scheduled. The action drama is intended as a patriotic homage to the Indian Air Force and will have its premiere over Republic Day week.
