Ishaan Khatter opens up on Hollywood debut project 'The Perfect Couple' with Nicole Kidman!

With the release of the movie Beyond The Clouds in 2017, actor Ishaan Khatter made his acting debut. His 2018 love drama film Dhadak, which also starred Janhvi Kapoor, brought him stardom. Ishaan received a ton of praise for the movie and kept running in his direction of success. Now that he will shortly be making his English-language debut with Netflix's The Perfect Couple, which also stars Nicole Kidman, the young actor is ready to make his mark in Hollywood. Ishaan Khatter recently discussed the impending project and underlined how it can provide him with new opportunities.
Khatter recently opened up about his English project, The Perfect Couple, and the experience of working on it during a conversation with a daily.
The actor said that he spent four months filming in Cape Cod on the East Coast for the six-part series, which will be directed by Susanne Bier. Khatter described working on the project as "exciting" before going on to say that the shoot would be over very soon.
Ishaan continued after talking in depth about it by saying, “It is an interesting part and a rare part for an Indian and South Asian actor to get. Hopefully, it will open up new doors and will be an exciting one to watch for their audience and us.”
The actor went into greater detail about his career ambitions and spoke at length with the news portal about them. He expressed gratitude for getting different responsibilities and said he was "fortunate" to be working at a time when options are available.
The actor revealed, “It’s been a very fortunate balance between the opportunities that I have received and my desire to explore. I have always been someone who has been passionate about cinema in a very agnostic way,” and unboxed his love for cinema further.
He said that he enjoys seeing films of various genres and tongues and that, as a result of his experiences, he has felt confident enough to take small moves in other businesses as well.
“You have different systems and methods, but eventually, everyone is only telling stories.”, told Ishaan Khatter.
