Akshay Kumar admires his 'dimaag wali' wife Twinkle Khanna! Tue May 21st, 2024

Possibly one of Bollywood's biggest stars right now is Akshay Kumar. On the other hand, he is a total family man in his private life. The actor is a devoted parent to his daughter and son in addition to being a kind and loving husband.

Recently, Khiladi Kumar made an appearance on Indian cricket player Shikhar Dhawan's discussion show, Dhawan Karenge. He mentioned in the program how fortunate he was to have married Twinkle Khanna and how intelligent she was.

Acknowledging his daughter Nitara, Akshay Kumar disclosed that Twinkle Khanna is the source of her intelligence. “Main to anpadh aadmi hu, zyada padha nahi hu. Main gadha mazdoori karta hu, wo dimaag wali hai. (I am an illiterate man, I have not studied too much. I do labor work whereas she is the one with the brain.)"

The Khiladi star continued, saying that although he is fortunate to have married superstar Rajesh Khanna's daughter, Twinkle is an even more fortunate woman because she is a wonderful mother and wife. He went on to say that a person's life is ideal if they find the correct life mate.

Akshay further revealed, “I go to work and she has taken such good care of my children. I am surprised about how my wife looks at life even today. She is 50 now and still goes to study. She has finished her master's and is now doing her PhD.”

For those who don't know, Twinkle Khanna relocated to London with her two children in order to pursue further education. Despite his busy schedule, Akshay makes time to visit and spend time with them.

The actor talked about his daily routine when he and his family were in London on the chat show. The actor from Welcome to the Jungle disclosed that he drops his wife at the university, his son at the university, and his daughter at the school when he travels to London.

The actor joked, downplaying even more his educational background. He said, “And then, like an ‘anpadh’, return home and watch cricket all day.”
