Sunny Deol reviews Kiran Rao's latest film Laapataa Ladies! Tue April 30th, 2024

After a long absence, Kiran Rao took the helm of Laapataa Ladies once more. The movie, which was supported by Aamir Khan's production company, was greeted with positive reviews and strong support from both reviewers and viewers. After seeing the film, Sunny Deol posted an insightful critique on social media.

Netflix recently launched Laapataa Ladies. After giving his assessment of the movie, Sunny Deol suggested that everyone see it.

On April 29, Sunny Deol re-shared a post on his Instagram Story stating that Laapataa Ladies is currently Netflix's top trending movie.

Re-sharing it, the actor from Gadar 2 wrote, "Just finished watching #LaapataLadies, haven't seen such a heartwarming and innocent film in long. All my best to @raodyness and team, will recommend all to watch this gem (happy emoji)". He translated the Hindi version of his review as well.

Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, is set in rural India in 2001. Two young brides go astray on a train excursion, causing mayhem and celebration.

In the meantime, Laapataa Ladies debuted on March 1 in theaters. The movie is based on Biplab Goswami's multi-award-winning narrative. The movie is available to stream right now on Netflix.
