Sonu Sood Reveals Why He Turned Down Dabangg 2!

Recently, actor Sonu Sood revealed that he had received offers from Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan to play Chhedi Singh's sibling in Dabangg 2. He declined it, though. For those who don't know, Sonu played Chhedi Singh, the main antagonist in the 2010 film Dabangg. The actor from Fateh recently stated in an interview that he declined the part because he didn't find it fascinating.
Sonu Sood disclosed in a recent interview that he was offered the lead villain part in Dabangg 2, but he decided to turn it down. Sonu told Humans of Bombay that he was invited once more to play the part of Chhedi Singh's brother by Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan, whom he views as family.

Sonu shared that he wasn't excited about the role and underlined the value of having the ability to say "no" when something doesn't seem right. He remembered telling Arbaaz and Salman, "I’m not feeling excited about this role, so how can I do it?" They were understanding, responding, "It's okay, no issues."
Sonu also mentioned that when Dabangg 2 was released, Salman invited him to the premiere, and he attended. While both Dabangg and Dabangg 2 were major hits, Dabangg 3 did not perform as well at the box office.
Sonu added that he accepted Salman's invitation to the premiere of Dabangg 2 when it was announced. Dabangg 3 did not do as well at the box office as Dabangg and Dabangg 2, despite both being huge hits.
In addition to making his directorial and producing debut, Sood will feature in the next action movie Fateh. Sonu talked about how he declined some of the greatest offers in Bollywood during a promotional media chat, stating that his experience in South cinema given him the courage to do so.
On January 10, 2025, Fateh is expected to be released in theatres.
