Shreyas Talpade's heart attack and subsequent extensive medical procedures were a nightmare for him and his family. The actor's heart attack happened on the set of Welcome to the Jungle. He said that returning to the sets recently caused him to experience "mixed feelings." The Marathi and Bollywood actor revealed his health status in a recent interview and thanked Ahmed Khan and Akshay Kumar for supporting his family through a difficult time.
Shreyas Talpade acknowledged in a media interview that going back to the Welcome To The Jungle sets, where he had gone into cardiac arrest, was frightening. He stated, "It's been two and a half months since I returned to work, and my doctor has advised me to take it slow, do my regular shoots and dialogues, but to avoid heavier stuff like action for the next six months."
Remembering his first day on sets, Shreyas told that it was a day of mixed emotions. “I was happy to be back on set, but at the same time, there was this little bit of nervous energy in me that ‘is everything okay? Will I be okay?’ I kept checking my heart rate on my watch. Once I was past that, I started shooting.” Before shooting, he also joked that he had a few butterflies in his stomach. He continued by saying he wanted to go slowly and give his body ample time to heal.
Speaking of the doctor's recommendations, he added that he has been told to continue with his routine exercise, cardio, and specific walks and cycling since the heart need that kind of stimulation to begin functioning normally again. “But I'm happy that I'm back on sets,” stated the actor.
