Pankaj Tripathi opens up on doing limited projects!
Without a doubt, one of Bollywood's best and most gifted actors is Pankaj Tripathi. His roles in several movies, including Gangs of Wasseypur, Masaan, Mimi, Ludo, and Stree, have demonstrated his abilities. The actor is currently preparing for the premiere of his movie Main Atal Hoon, in which he plays the role of Atal Bihar Vajpayee, a former Indian prime minister.

Pankaj Tripathi has finally spoken out regarding his choice to reduce his workload. He also talked about what transpired when he went straight after Main Atal Hoon to shoot for Amar Kaushik's Stree 2.

Over the past three years, Pankaj Tripathi has acted in 14 movies, including Mimi, OMG 2, Fukrey 3, and Kaagaz. During an interview with a daily, Tripathi announced his decision to reduce his workload. “I realized I was ‘overeating’, itna acting nahi karna chahiye (One shouldn’t do so much acting),” he told. He clarified that there are boundaries to one's performance or way of thinking. Since he is unable to alter his physicality, he would prefer to work on three projects rather than ten. He claimed that by doing this, he will be able to work more effectively since his mind and creative process will be rested.

The Mirzapur actor also discussed what happened when he went to film Stree 2, his upcoming movie, right after Main Atal Hoon, in the same interview. Amar Kaushik, the director of Stree 2, gently brought up the fact that he was still portraying Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former prime minister of India. The actor recalled that after wrapping up filming for Atal, he was on the set of Stree 2 the following day.

“On the first day after my shot, Amar Kaushik came to me and whispered in my ears, ‘Atal ji lag rahe hai!’ (You look like Atal ji). I told him what do I do now, I had just finished the film in Delhi last night. So he gave me a day off and asked me to watch Stree and chill. I said de de chutti, I want this!” said Pankaj Tripathi.
