Kiran Rao directorial Laapataa Ladies gets a release date!
For Kiran Rao's upcoming film, Laapataa Ladies, produced by Jio Studios, Aamir Khan and Rao will team up once more. The movie is slated to hit theatres on January 5, 2024. After more than ten years, Kiran will be taking the helm once again. Dhobi Ghat, her first film as a director, was her final project as a director. The upcoming film's creators recently provided a fascinating glimpse into this comedy-drama. It promises an original plot, crackling language, and an accomplished cast. The key actors in the movie are Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan.
 
The release date of Kiran Rao's film Laapataa Ladies was announced by Aamir Khan Productions on their X (formerly known as Twitter) account today, September 7th, 2023. Sharing the poster they posted, “Ab milega #LaapataaLadies ka pata 5th January 2024 ko, aapke nazdiki cinema gharon mein. Long before its official release, Laapataa Ladies will also have a screening at the grand premiere at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 8.
 
Laapataa Ladies explores the comic mayhem that occurs when two young brides get lost on a train in rural India in the year 2001.
 
Jio Studios is the company behind the movie Laapataa Ladies. Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande are the producers and Kiran Rao is the director. Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions are the production companies behind this film. The screenplay and dialogue were written by Sneha Desai, and the story is based on an award-winning short story by Biplab Goswami. The talks also include Divyanidhi Sharma's contributions.
